Folk Show Venue and Departure of the Cruise
The venue of the Hungarian Folk Show is alternating on the two Danube riversides of Budapest, between the city central Danube Palace on the Pest side, and the Budai Vigado on the Buda side of the city of Budapest. The dock of the Dinner Cruise is adjusted to these venues, so that in either cases the departure of the cruise is very close to the Folk Show venue. After the Folk Show, hostesses will escort the guests to the Dock.

Please note that the folk show tickets are refundable if the show should happen to be cancelled for technical reasons, but unfortunately, there is no refund if the tickets are not used. By all means, we strive to find a mutually satisfactory solution in case your plans change for your Budapest holiday. the Budapest Card provides discount on the Friday Folk Shows only. If you have a Budapest Card, you can buy the Folk Show ticket on student price. Please kindly note that you will be asked to present your valid Budapest Card on the spot before the Show, otherwise you will need to pay the price difference of the adult and student ticket there.

Tickets for the Hungarian Folk Show come in four categories: VIP, Category 1, Category 2 and Category 3.

The folk dance show is from 8 pm to 9:45 pm (with 15 min intermission), performed in 2 shows. The first half of the show is approx. 40 min, then comes a 15 min break, followed by another approx. 40 min act.

When the Folk Dance Show has ended, you can opt for a Danube city cruise to continue your beautiful cultural night in Budapest.

Dear Viviana,
For children you can book Student tickets. For small kids (who can sit on your lap during the Folk Show) there is no need to buy a separate ticket (the cruise is also free for children under 6).
Yes, high chairs can be provided on the cruise.
